Spot League

Location:

1. May be done indoors or outdoors
2. Indoor and Outdoor designated archery ranges may use all styles of archery equipment
3. Indoor and Outdoor non-designated archery ranges (multi-purpose rooms, gyms, baseball field, etc.) utilizing an arrow curtain as a backstop only Genesis original bows (10-20 lb max draw weight) may be used.  (If shooting outdoors there must be at least a 50-yard drop zone behind the targets or arrow curtain)
4. League must be conducted by an active Basic Archery Instructor (BAI)

Bow Divisions:

1. Bare Bow (Genesis Original, Recurve or Long Bow)
2. Hunting Bow (compound or recurve bow used for hunting, no magnification lenses in scope.  Use hunting set up for stabalizers
3. Target Bow (specialized equipment beyond hunting use)

Distance:

20 yards with full size targets or 10 yards with reduced targets

Targets:

1. Target faces can be put on Morrell, BLOCK or your archery ranges targets using target pins.  Morrell targets rated for 40lb bows should only be used with Genesis Original bows

3. Hunting and Target Compound/Recurve Bow with sights, 20 yards: Maple Leaf LAS Classic Finals 3x40cm Target Face with Bonus Ring – Lancaster Archery Supply

Course of Fire:

1. 1 arrow in each of 3 bullseyes or if using a single spot target, 3 arrows at 1 single spot
2. 10 ends of 3 arrows = 30 arrows and 300 points

Scoring:

1. Use Bow and Joe Score Card or any similar score card to track score
2. When competing in the National Bow and Joe League, score card must be signed by both the Archer and the Witness
3. Score will be inputted into arrowscores.com by the Centershot BLUE Outpost Guide or designated person no later than Sunday at 11:59 pm every week during the National Virtual League
