  1. Teams will consist of at least 6 no more than 8 members, with no gender requirements. You may shoot with less but will not qualify for a team trophy only an individual medal may be awarded.
  2. Only the NASP bow and arrows will be allowed at event.
  3. Range distance will be 10 meters & 15 meters
  4. Arrows will be provided or you may bring your own.
  5. Each archer will have 5 practice arrows at 10 meters.
  6. Each archer will have a total of 6 scoring rounds. 3 at 10 meters & 3 at 15 meters.
  7. Each flight will be allotted 70 minutes to complete their relays.
  8. There will be a 2-minute timer per each relay/end.
  9. If a shooter drops an arrow on the deck, he/she will be allowed to make up the shot. The archer shall raise their hand, and the Range Safety Officer (RSO) will bring him/her a new arrow.
  10. If an arrow bounces back from the target the archer will be given another arrow. The archer shall raise their hand, and the Range Safety Officer (RSO) will bring him/her a new arrow.  
  11. If an arrow breaks the scoring line, the higher point will be awarded to that archers.
  12. In the event of a tie, the number of 10-ring hits will determine the winner. If the archers have the same amount of 10-ring hits, the person with the most 9-ring hits will win, and so on, until a winner is determined. If needed the archers warm up round score will be used to break the tie.
  13. The scoresheet will be filled out and bubbled by the archer.

 

 

14.  Below is a list of gear the teams are ALLOWED and not ALLOWED to bring;

2.      Finger guards

3.      Your own (NASP-approved) Genesis bows.

4.      Wrist slings that are attached to the Genesis bow

  1. Valley AJROTC invites you to Early Bird Archery Challenge on 19 September 2026. 
  2. Enclosed are the general instructions, the archery rules (in accordance with NASP regulations)
  3. This event will hopefully help your team prepare for the state archery competition TBA 2027.
  4. A CODE of CONDUCT is expected during the competition. This includes all archers, parents, and instructors.
  5. This document is subject to change at any time at the direction of the Host Meet Director. The host has full authority at the competition.
  6. An amendment to any changes will be published and disseminated to all participating units via email.
  7. Registration will need to be completed on-line through https://arrowscores.com/. Instructor must have a BAI # to register their school. During the registration process you will select your flight time.
  8. A team will consist of no less then 6 and no more then 8 archers. The top 6 archers will be scored for each team results. There is no gender requirement
  9. Deadline to register is September 15, 2026 through https://arrowscores.com/.
  10. Registration fee $50 per team or $10 per individual. This will be paid to Valley HS AJROTC.
