Groups

A Group in the Arrowscores system represents an organization such as a school, church, club, or similar entity. Groups allow archers to register together for tournaments.

How Groups and Non-Group Registrations are Used in the Tournament Registration Process:
Group Creation:
  • To create a new group, go to Account Settings and select Account Groups. An authorized representative must create the group before it can be used for tournament registration.
  • If the group already exists, you can associate your account with the existing group, allowing you to register archers as part of that group.
Special Considerations for NASP® Schools League:
  • For groups associated with the NASP® Schools league, the group must be linked to an existing active School/Organization in the NASP® system.
  • Additionally, the account must be linked to an active NASP® BAI (Basic Archery Instructor) to register the group for a tournament representing the NASP® Schools league.
Group Roster Registration:
  • Archers who are members of a group can be added to a Group Roster for tournaments that allow Group Registrations. Group membership does not automatically place archers on the roster—they must be added manually.
  • If the tournament allows groups from multiple leagues, the group must select which league they are representing when the Group Roster is created.
Non-Group Roster Registration:
  • For tournaments that allow Non-Group Registrations, individual archers or teams of archers who are not part of a formal group can register using a Non-Group Roster. All non-group rosters must enter a name at the time of creation for identification.
Team Scoring and Individual Scoring:
  • Not all tournaments allow team scoring. If team scoring is not permitted, all archers are scored and ranked individually.
  • For tournaments that allow team scoring, archers can be grouped into teams. A roster can contain multiple teams, but archers will still be scored and ranked individually as well.
Tournament Registration Options:
  • Tournaments can allow Non-Group Registrations, Group Registrations, or both. The system ensures users select the appropriate registration method based on the tournament’s specific rules.
